La Roque-Gageac is a charming place for a leisurely walk; built seamlessly into the rock above the winding #Dordogne river, there are tiny cobbled car-free streets that take you up and through the village so that you can admire the beautiful houses and gardens.
The higher you get, the better the views across the picturesque valley. Then back down at river level there is a good selection of restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy the classic long French lunch :)
