Enjoy a Dog-Friendly Holiday in the Dordogne Valley

At Gîte de Pereyroux, we understand that a holiday isn’t complete without your four-legged companion. With our enclosed garden, countryside surroundings, and dog-friendly walks from the doorstep, both you and your dog can relax and enjoy the region together.

Here are nine of our favourite dog-friendly places nearby — all within easy reach of the gîte.

1. Sarlat-la-Canéda – A Charming Medieval Town

Stroll through cobbled streets and soak up the atmosphere of the old town. Dogs on leads are welcome in most areas, and several cafés will happily give your pooch a bowl of water. Don’t miss the Saturday market for local treats.
