Making hay while the sun shines

Since moving here in January we've seen the grass in the fields around us grow really long, so it was with some relief that I finally worked out how to communicate with the local farmer to come and cut our grass! It was cool to watch too - its amazing how quickly he manoeuvres the various giant machines that cut, gather, and finally bale the hay. He was grateful for the hay, and I was grateful for the view...

Summer has defiantly arrived :)
