Hollywood comes to Beynac-et-Cazenac

Surprised to see a notice at the Mayor's office in #Beynac today saying that the Chateau was closed to the public for 2 weeks - turns out that its being used for filming the new Ridley Scott movie #TheLastDuel, set in the 14th century starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Adam Driver. I can see why - a stunning village clinging to the steep rocks, topped with a fantastic chateau.

We sat and watched the world go by in the corner coffee shop, but didn't see any Hollywood glitterati! We took in the February sunshine though :)
